Dear family: My mother, Wilma Vander Baan, lived at Georgetown Place for 14 years and knew both of your parents well. And since I visited GTP often also enjoyed their company. Jean was a sweet gentle lady and an inspiration to the GTP community. We were from the Worcester, MA area and understand Jean's love for that environment, so I'm sure it was a joy to have your mom back with you in Milford. Sincere sympathy in this great loss, and may God grant you peace in your sorrow.

I want to let all of you know how much I appreciated and enjoyed Jean's friendship in the few years that I knew her at Georgetown. I always looked forward to Wednesday when we had lunch together and played Bridge. I admired her Bridge playing and I learned so much from her. She was a real winner!

Rob and family, I am so sorry for your loss. How amazing that she passed while doing something she loved: traveling. I hope you find solace in knowing how vibrant she was and the long life she lived.
